6 weeks of movement, improvisation, simple tasks, images, discussion, observation, and collective composition.

We will explore questions such as:

• What leaves a mark on us?

• What do women carry that is rarely seen?

• What does it mean to be visible without being exposed?

• How do our bodies respond to pressure, care, fear, joy, expectation, or resistance?

• How can a group hold solidarity while allowing each person to remain individual?

• What does peace look like when it is active, protective, attentive, and strong?

We are looking for  movers/dancers/educators/choreographers - are your ready to nourish your artistic growth?

The Cocoon Lab ONLINE offers rare, real mentoring for dance artists in a small cohort, where your in‑progress ideas are treated as serious work and directly fed back into your projects.

We start 29 October· six Thursdays, 9:30–10:45 am Pacific, live on Zoom. 

Expect somatic preparation, task‑based improvisation, phrase work and guided reflection, all in service of cultivating your voice—not copying mine.

For dancers, choreographers and movement educators who want to:

• deepen their personal practice and questions

• grow and structure original material into a short solo study / score
